This Saturday was the Heartbeat 5000 5K in Minneapolis. This was an extra special race because it benefits the Cardiac Unit at Children's Hospital. This is the unit that my niece June was on when she was a week old and will be on in a few months when she gets her open heart surgery. We made cute 'Team June' shirts to fundraise for baby June, so that even people who couldn't run the 5K could take part. Ben and Matt sprinted ahead while I walked back with the rest of my family and the strollers. The path was so crowded with strollers that you couldn't have jogged even if you wanted to. It was a fun morning supporting a great cause! (Ben taking the diaper bag to work with him after he ran and stranding me without clean diapers and house keys is a different story!)
