10 Months Old!

There are still days that I sit looking at Maddie and am just so in awe of what an amazing girl she is.  How did I get so lucky?   Our little babe is up to the double digits as of Sunday!  Being a mama of a 10 month old is so fun!  She is at the age where she loves to play and have babbling conversation with you!

Recap of Month 10:

• Loves to eat by herself.   If you try to give her anything with a spoon she will just push it away.  A favorite lately has been blueberries.  She could eat a whole carton in one sitting if you let her!
• Can stand alone for long periods of time, but isn't really interested in walking yet.  She can get places faster crawling (and let me tell you she is fast!).
• Makes a scream noise when she doesn't want to do something or she is angry with you.  It is actually super adorable.  She knows what she likes and dislikes these days.
• Got another bottom tooth this month which moves the total up to 7 teeth.  It was probably the roughest tooth so far and has made me a true believer in the amber necklace.  She hadn't worn the necklace in a while and once we realized she was getting a tooth we quickly found it.  Completely different baby.  Our nanny commented how amazed she was by it too!
• Says Mama and starting to say Dada!  Melt my heart!
• Has learned how to wave!  The people who get the most waves are Mommy and her nanny, Natalia!
• Maddie more than doubled her toy count during Christmas, so she loves her new playroom full of toys.  She can entertain herself for an incredibly long time with all the baskets full of toys!
• Maddie definitely knows when she isn't supposed to be doing something because she'll turn to look at you with a little smirk before she does it.  Examples are unrolling the toilet paper, eating magazines, opening the toilet seat, etc.
• Gives the best kisses!
• Loves to "ride" the dogs.  They still haven't warmed up to the idea yet!
