I've been slacking lately in the blogging department... Instead of doing a recap of everything that I didn't have time to blog about in the past two months, I'll just start from this past week!
While the weather decided to send a polar vortex round 2 to Minneapolis, we headed south to Bonita Springs, FL to stay with my sister! The first few days were a polar vortex in Florida which means the high was only 68 degrees- everyone was in boots and parkas! It felt great to us and we spent as much time outside as possible. By the end, it was back up to the normal mid-80s and we got some good beach time in!
Maddie loved seeing her Uncle AJ, Aunt Emmy and puppy Willa. We spent the days lounging on their lanai (although the pool wasn't heated and Maddie was not a fan of having to stay dry), going to the beach and just hanging out. It was so great to get out of the cold weather, although it was definitely a shock to the system when we landed back in Minnesota and it was only -18 degrees! Come soon spring!
