It's an annual tradition to head up north to the Lusten/Tofte area with the Cook side of the family. Usually we do a cabin trip in the summer, but this year there was either someone that would really pregnant or a newborn in the family. Neither of those things would bode well in a cabin with the whole fam, so we all headed up for New Year's Eve instead!
It is crazy to see how our family has grown in the past year. Adding three more kiddos to the mix doubled the cousins! The younger cousins are all still babies, but by next summer they will be running and crawling after their older cousins. Maddie has so much fun playing with her cousins, Elliot and Liam. They're at an age where sharing can get hard, but they had a great time other than the occasional fight over a toy. It's funny how there area a million toys up there, but they all seem to want the same little thing. This time it was a little plastic camera that Liam had.
It was pretty much freezing cold the whole time we were up north, but Maddie and Liam really wanted to play outside. Ben and Uncle Bill headed outside with them for a bit and they had the BEST time.
New Year's Eve consisted of the fun bounce house that Elliot brought... which quickly turned into a nakey jump party. One kid takes off their shirt and it just goes downhill from there... After the kids went to sleep the adults all spent the night playing the Iphone game, Heads Up. If you haven't played it, you should! What a fun couple days with the family. A great way to kick off 2015!
