Wednesday Words

Maddie:

1. We started talking about Halloween and Maddie was convinced Halloween was a thing. While we were running errands she kept asking where Halloween was and saying she wanted it. We tried to explain that it was a day where you get to dress up, but explaining that to a two year old was like going in circles. We ended up caving and buying her Rapunzal slippers that we told her were Halloween. 

2. Mads has been pretty whiny the past few days. It literally started the day she turned 2 1/2 last week. Oh boy.

3. She was reading books to Everly today and said, "Hi! I'm Maddie. How are you?" everytime she came back with a new book. I'm pretty sure she learned that at school today because she's said it multiple times today. The best part about having video on my phone is being able to record these cute little moments. 

4. Shake It Off by Taylor Swift is her new favorite song. By Maddie's request, we have dance parties to it in the car everytime we go somewhere and when she's playing in the basement.

5. 'Banana Ice Cream' is her new favorite treat. It's just one frozen banana and a splash of milk in the Vitamix. Healthy and sooo good!

Everly:

1. Still sleeping really well! But prefers to lay on her back and not snuggle at night.

2. Starting to lose some of her dark hair already. I'm guessing we're going to have another bald baby on our hands!

3. Her eyes are changing to be lighter blue with a dark blue ring just like Maddie's eyes.

4. She is lucky that her Aunt makes headbands for her etsy shop because she gets to test them all out!

5. Has already rolled to her stomach a couple times while sleeping!
